When my hair is wet i have very bouncy kinky/loose curls. All i apply to my hair and leave in conditioner and oil but when it is dry, my hair feels very dry and STIFF but yet still soft and curly. Is this just how my hair is or is there something that i could do. I am kinda tired of having to stick my whole head underneath the shower head for my hair to return to its shape and i can do something with it
NapturalGirl: I use a spray bottle!! we have extremely similar curl patterns, and sometimes when I get impatient I do stick my head under the shower!!! but what I would suggest is deep condition more (once a week) and co-wash!!! I am not sure how many times you shampoo but make sure you only shampoo when necessary and wash immediately also maybe once a month *before* a deep condition, but mainly tailor your products by adding more and/or different oils (I suggest coconut)!! and more deep conditioning!!
